Bluetooth modules are available as Class 2 (short distance) or Class 1 (long distance) options, and provide Data or Data + Audio communications.

The plug-and-play Bluetooth dongles are robust interfaces between an RS232 serial port and a Bluetooth Class 1 long distance connection.
