ARF41 range’s FM03 repeaters are used for selectively repeating a channel on the FM broadcasting bandwidth. It thus ensures that radio programmes are received without disruptions and that several alert messages can be broadcast in closed environments. It is usefull on all the 87-108MHz FM bandwidth.
Its structure allows it to repeat an FM channel over several transmission channels (parallel tunnels, parking lots with several levels, etc.). In accordance with new European regulations, the possibility of including distinct alert messages on each transmission channel (typically 2, maximum 6) is included.
Configuration is carried out through an embedded http server that can be accessed using a standard web browser (Internet Explorer, Firefox, etc.).
Supervision is SNMP/IP protocol based (also dry loop accessible).
FM repetition is made up of an “RF/FI downconverter” module and as many “FI/RF upconverter” modules as there aretransmission channels.
They are in the form of 3U 7F plus-in units built into a 19” subrack, which is common to the entire ARF41 range, and can host up to 12 modules. |
